A short-pulsed source can easily be integrated in any LEM SAPHIR-ou IOLITE’s framework.

Femtosecond laser technology enables marking (engraving, 3D marking, texturing, laser decoration), micromachining and laser micro-cutting.

Cycle time optimisation, machining precision and quality (and aesthetics) are the main advantages.

The part to be machined is not affected thermally, which avoids or considerably reduces post-processing phases (deburring or passivation). The technology also allows for beautiful finishes such as satin finishing, pearling, Côte de Genève, etc.

Depending on the application and the customer's needs, a laser source of power varying from 6W to 50W with a spectrum of 250 to 3000 femtoseconds can be integrated into a mechanically welded frame, which is made of a granite block to provide robustness and rigidity to the machine, and ultimately precision in laser machining.
